Board Meetings

Sandpiper Isle generally holds a monthly Board meeting on the third Wednesday of the month, however special and sometimes the monthly meetings may be held on a different day of the month.  During the summer months when many residents are not here, the Board may elect to skip a meeting or two.  Regardless, the Board will post an official meeting notice on the bulletin board as you exit the community as well as send an official meeting notice via internet email.  In addition, large signs are generally posted on the entrance and exit gates a couple days in advance of an upcoming meeting, but don't rely on the signs. Only the bulletin board and email serve as the official notice. In December the monthly meeting is followed by the annual Members meeting during which new Board members are elected and any member may ask any question to the Board, as well as make any statement regarding Sandpiper Isle.

By law, the Board meeting is open to all residents and everyone is strongly encouraged to attend. This is your neighborhood! What the Board does affects every resident and the entire neighborhood. Meeting minutes, as well as the monthly Treasurer’s Report, are published on the Sandpiper Isle web site after approval, but please keep in mind that while the meeting minutes cover the Board actions they are no substitute for attending in person. In addition, residents are given a time to speak so if you have a concern or want to hear what others have to say, you are strongly encouraged to attend.
