Life at Sandpiper
Life at Sandpiper Isle
Sandpiper Isle is a small gated community of 76 single-family homes within the larger Lakes of Sherbrooke community located in Palm Beach County, Florida It is approximately five miles west of Lake Worth proper and adjacent to Wellington. Sandpiper Isle was designed to offer its residents a quiet, peaceful, low-traffic community. Many of our residents say they found the "perfect home" when they tour and buy in Sandpiper Isle.
Sandpiper Isle is a peninsula, one way in and one way out. With access in and out controlled by the gate system, traffic and access is limited. The Sandpiper Isle entrance gates are controlled with a small remote transmitter and key FOB provided to each resident. There is an intercom call box at the entrance for guests and other non-residents to request access. For additional security, there is a video camera trained on the gates to record all vehicles entering.

One of our best amenities is the community-wide landscaping. Lawns are mowed, bushes and hedges are trimmed, palm trees and hardwood trees are pruned by a professional landscaping crew on a regular basis. There's no need to own, store or maintain heavy lawn equipment living in our community.
Approximately eighty percent of the homes are on lake-front lots, having beautiful views out the back of the homes. Many of the homes have docks where residents can enjoy boating and kayaking. Electrically powered boats are permitted; however, no gasoline-powered craft are allowed in order to maintain the tranquility of our community.
Sandpiper Isle, like many communities, has a set of governing documents, a/k/a covenant or deed restrictions. You can find and download the governing documents here on the web site under the document tab. The Lakes of Sherbrooke master community also has a set of governing documents.
When it comes time to sell your home, you can be assured that your home will sell for as much as the market and economy will permit at the time, with no fear of price depression due to an unkempt neighborhood.
